AEC Nexus uses third-party artificial intelligence providers to process certain user-submitted prompts and project imagery solely for requested functionality. AEC Nexus does not intentionally use customer project content to train its own AI models. Third-party providers process submitted data according to their applicable contractual terms and data protection policies.

AI Nexus Render currently uses OpenAI to process certain prompts and project images. Such information is transmitted to OpenAI to perform the requested AI functionality.

Under OpenAI's published API data policies, API customer inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default, unless the API customer opts in. OpenAI may retain certain information for operational, security, or abuse-monitoring purposes, depending on the service and configuration used.

AEC Nexus may use additional or different AI providers as its services evolve. This policy will be updated when necessary to reflect material changes in data processing.

4. Project Data and Storage

AEC Nexus is designed to minimize the retention of customer project content. According to its current development plans, project files and generated content may be stored locally on the user's device rather than in an AEC Nexus-hosted project repository.

However, content submitted for cloud-based AI processing is transmitted to the applicable external provider. Local storage does not mean that submitted information remains exclusively on the user's device.

Actual retention practices may vary by feature, technical configuration, and third-party provider.

5. Account and Billing Information

If paid subscriptions become available, AEC Nexus may process information needed to establish accounts, manage subscriptions, communicate with customers, and administer billing.

Payment processing may involve a third-party payment service provider. Details of the payment provider and information it handles should be disclosed when checkout becomes available.
